Hey! I'm a Cloud DevOps Engineer at Merkle DACH, where I design and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure, implement CI/CD pipelines, and work with containerized applications. My journey into tech started with frontend development—I completed both Meta's Front-End and Back-End Developer certifications and the UPSkill MERN stack program, which led to my backend developer internship at Merkle in early 2024.
From that internship, I transitioned into cloud engineering as a Junior Cloud Engineer in May 2024, and recently advanced to Cloud DevOps Engineer. Over the past year and a half, I've built hands-on experience with AWS services, infrastructure automation with Terraform, containerization with Docker, and setting up monitoring solutions with Grafana and Prometheus. I've also earned three AWS certifications that validate my cloud expertise.
What really excites me now is the intersection of cloud infrastructure and AI/ML. After earning my AWS Machine Learning Engineer Associate certification, I'm actively building hands-on ML experience through practical projects while preparing for my CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator) certification. I'm diving deep into Kubernetes, MLOps practices, and learning how to operationalize ML models in production—bridging my DevOps foundation with the ML operations world.
